Hello ,Hallo,

Hello Mr. Martin
grace, the eccentric movement is that it converts a rotary motion into two motions, a horizontal swing, that moves the film. And another vertical reciprocating, which allows punching the movie. The same, making the clutches of a projector, to move the film. But more strongly
For Professionals tooling machines and punches, no problem doing this kind of machines, as they tend to work much harder materials such as sheet metal.
What I find most difficult to use, it is this type of machines in film, since no sensor can rub with the movie, and therefore is harder to control the pace of drilling.
Hallo Mr. Martin

I have no website or any link with explanations of the machine, I do not think a very important project. It is only one way to do fun things on weekends.
Entertains me to learn languages, and better, to find topics that interest me related to cinema. So from time to time I read your forum. Unfortunately sometimes I have trouble understanding some interesting post. So I do not write much. But whenever I can try to find the expressions that I do not understand, to improve my knowledge of German.
Greetings.

I use a 12-120 Angenieux is very bright and offers significant zoom. However, it is a goal that can only be used for super8, not 16mm. Type C mount of this camera lets you put 16mm objectives.

Thank you.
First excuse my English.
I made this machine in tree weeks, because I am a student and I have not much time.
As punch tool, I used a hard stainless steel heat treatment and a subsequent tempering. But the original punch professional machines, I think they are in tungsten carbide or cobalt, but very difficult to machine at home.
My punch is finished in grinding, and hand polished before heat treatment. The die also has the same material and heat treatment. Due to its small dimensions (the punch and die) are very difficult to adjust to the measures required for the 9.5 mm. (And that is formatted with a larger hole ...) In 8mm & super8mm, it is even more complicated.
Here the punch is guided by a block of nylon, as it is self lubricating and wear-resistant. The film moves forward and is punched through the bearing, and its axis is displaced from the original centre.
Perhaps the worst part of the machine is the rubber treader system, who stop the advance of the tape, because can scratch a little the strip with the treader.

Greetings from the builder (9.5 mm perforator by: ICE), is just a home project.
We are now preparing more technical and precise machines, for more formats.
And greetings also from the Spanish forum super8, http://tornemi.8.forumer.com/ some of us read your forum.
We also inform you that there is a new small laboratory for 8 & 16mm films.

And a couple of websites of some friends.
Aus 35mm-Film wird 9,5mm-Film!

Hallo,
