This is related to found footage. I have a collection of amateur, privately produced 8mm normal and Super 8 films, mostly from Germany. There are some rare and interesting films.
I'll scan the films and edit them into a 15-20 minute film, approximately. Or I'll make one 8-minute film and another 35-minute film.
These will be different scenes from different films, connected by a theme.
I won't be cutting and re-splicing the film. I'll be screening a digital version in 2K.
Would such a film be interesting? Do similar films show digitally at festivals?
