  2. Hello, I'm having some problems with making a MPEG DCP. I used DCP Creator and outputted a mpeg dcp from a 25fps mpeg HD file. My setting in DCP creator were MXF interop (other setting were unchecked). I outputted the DCP with succes and putted it on a USB and went testing in a cinema with a Doremi DCP-2000. The DCP was corretly detected when ingesting on the doremi. When playing the dcp for the first time i directly mentioned a delay in the video(audio was playing first). When the dcp was playing on, the delay was getting worse. When i checked the length of the dcp, the doremi mentioned 11.56 min. The original video file was something like 11.23 min. Because the delay was getting worse i think the doremi played the DCP at 24 fps which wil delay the video every second with 1 frame. And with a video track of 11.23 min. the total delay at the end of the track will be something like 28 sec. So i think the doremi played my dcp as 24 fps and the audio as 25 fps. The original footage is 25 fps. I think i need to check or define something in DCP creator to work with 25fps MPEG video?. Maybe i need to check the SMPTE UL and video/ audio alignment option?. But i don't want the doremi play the audio as 24 fps. I want the doremi to play video and audio at 25fps. Someone can help with this?. (I'm a dutch film operator so sorry for my english my german is not as good) With regards, Tim
  3. Yess i indeed created a mpeg2 dcp. I already had some thoughts about the frauenhofer player and if it could play mpeg2 DCP. Apparently not. Thanks for your information. I think i've created the mpeg2 dcp successfully i'm going to try to get it on a usb drive and ingest it into a doremi dcp2000 and have some test with it. Thnx. Tim
  4. Hello I'm a dutch film operator and having some question regarding the DCPC software. I'm also new to this forum, my german is not as good as my english so i will start questioning in english. (I can translate from german to dutch no problem) I want to make a dcp from a mpeg 2 HD file. I have done all the steps in de dcpc software and it actually outputted a dcp from it. When i want to check the dcp in fraunhofer easy dcp player i get an error message which is saying that the video track file is not listed in the pkl. When i press play i only hear the audio obviously . What is going wrong? Is this a bug in the software?. I exported a video file to a 1920*1080 mpeg 2 hd file with a file extensions .m2v it all looks ok. Also the audio is ok.?I have not tried to upload the dcp on the doremi server yet so could this be a bug in the software drom fraunhofer or the dcpc software? With regards, Tim
