Hello everyone, I'm facing a technical issue with my Steenbeck ST 1600. After replacing the timing belts (2 x D83, 1 x D70), I have noticed that the playback speed is not consistent, and there may be a slight wobble in the picture. I have checked the alignment and tension of the belts, and everything appears in order . Also checked STEENBECK USER MANUAL 16mm 01-SERIES for guidance . Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Hello The stiffness you're experiencing with the lower and upper timing belts might be due to resinous bearings. Check and possibly clean or lubricate the bearings. Also, confirm the belt tension isn't too tight and that the belts are properly aligned. If the problem still there, inspecting the bearings by dismantling the carrier plate could help. Details as : Projector Model: CineStar Pro 2000 The setup includes a high-quality zoom lens for precise image focusing, and it utilizes a 200W halogen lamp with a color temperature of 5500K for optimal color rendition and brightness. The projected image appears misaligned or distorted, affecting the overall picture quality. The misalignment persists consistently across different film reels, indicating that it's not related to specific films or reels. I've made basic adjustments to the lens and focus settings in an attempt to correct the alignment issue, but with limited success.
